The Math That Broke the World by Jay Jeong un Yang

I created a song using Suno titled 'The Math That Broke the World', and the lyrics were inspired by the movie 'Margin Call'.

The artwork featured in the videos was created by me using ChatGPT.

This is version 1.

This is version 2.

 Lyrics:

Verse 1
The city hums like nothing’s wrong
A normal, breathing night
Elevators drift in lazy loops
Fluorescent, pale and white
The coffee’s gone, the screen still glows
A thin electric blue
The numbers finally spoke to me
In a language I can’t un-knew

Pre-Chorus
Every cell inside me shifted
Like the ground beneath a floor
Nothing changed outside this window
But I’m not the same anymore

Chorus
The building is quiet but my chest is loud
Like thunder trapped in bone
Nothing’s burning, nothing’s broken
But I’ve never felt more alone
I found the end of everything
Inside a tidy grid of rows
Nothing’s falling yet in daylight
But I already feel it close

Verse 2
The clock refuses to look away
It blinks without a sound
The hallway smells like old cologne
And secrets pressed into the ground
I trace the logic line by line
No error left to blame
Every answer leads to one result
The future’s just the same

Pre-Chorus
I try to argue with the silence
Like maybe I am wrong
But the truth just keeps repeating
In the math, in the calm, in the song

Chorus
The building is quiet but my chest is loud
A siren no one hears
Everyone’s asleep upstairs
Unaware of coming years
I found the end of everything
In a spreadsheet’s fragile trust
Nothing’s collapsed yet outside these walls
But inside me, everything just must

Bridge
If I stand up, will the world tilt
If I speak, does the air break
If I tell them what I’m holding
Will they understand the weight
Because knowledge is a lonely thing
When no one else can see
That the shape of what is coming
Is already inside me

Final Chorus
The building is quiet but my chest is loud
Like glass about to crack
Every number feels like prophecy
There is no taking this back
I found the end of everything
Not in fire, not in flame
But in clean white cells of certainty
That will never be the same

Outro
The world is still intact outside.
Cars pass.
Lights blink.
Morning is on its way.

But in this room, at 3 a.m.,
everything has already ended.
