Two Outsiders, Side by Side by Jay Jeong un Yang

I created a song using Suno titled 'Two Outsiders, Side by Side', and it was made as a gift for sEODo.

The artwork featured in the videos was created by me using ChatGPT.

This is version 1.

 This is version 2.

 Lyrics:

We didn’t match the stories they preferred
Too quiet, too strange, too out of turn
They’d look right through us in the crowded light
Like we were written wrong in everyone’s sight

You spoke in pauses, I spoke in doubt
We learned the long way in and out
But every silence fit just right
When you were standing in my line of sight

We didn’t belong to their parade
To easy smiles, to plans they made
But somehow we made sense beside the tide
Two drifting worlds, aligned by time

We built our language out of air
Out of small things no one else would share
A glance, a joke too soft to hear
A truth we’d never say but held so clear

They asked us why we walked alone
Why we preferred the edge of home
They never saw the way we knew
The safest place was next to you

We didn’t belong to their parade
To easy smiles, to plans they made
But somehow we made sense beside the tide
Two restless hearts, side by side

Maybe we’re still the ones apart
Still off-beat rhythms, mismatched start
But if the world won’t let us in
We’ll make a place beneath our skin

Because we don’t need their design
To prove your hand belongs in mine
We are enough without their view
The way the shore belongs to blue

We didn’t belong to their parade
We never learned the games they played
But somehow we made sense beside the tide
Two outsiders, side by side
