An Unsolved Balance by Jay Jeong un Yang

I wrote a lesbian romance story.

Here is the summary:

Melinda is tired of love.

Not in a dramatic way—just quietly, completely finished with relationships that feel like problems to solve. She’s tired of compromises that wear her down, of arguments that never truly resolve, of being asked to adjust again and again.

She prefers mathematics. Clean structures. Clear outcomes. Things that make sense.

So when Dora, a coworker who moves through the world with calm ease, asks her out without pressure, Melinda doesn’t know what to do with it.

Dora doesn’t insist.
She doesn’t argue.
She doesn’t try to align.

She simply allows things to be different—and lets them stay that way.

As they begin to spend time together, Melinda finds herself in something unfamiliar: a relationship that doesn’t demand resolution, doesn’t require agreement, and doesn’t ask her to change.

At first, it feels incomplete.

Then, slowly, it begins to feel… enough.

An Unsolved Balance is a quiet story about difference, space, and the kind of connection that doesn’t need to be fixed to hold.

The Shape of Small Things by Jay Jeong un Yang

I wrote a lesbian romance story.

Here is the summary:

In a quiet bakery filled with the warmth of bread and drifting light, a careful repair technician is called in to fix an oven that won’t stay on. She prefers problems that make sense—things she can take apart, understand, and put back together.

The baker who calls her is different. She moves through the world slowly, noticing small things others overlook—the way flour hangs in sunlight, the shape of a shoulder mid-motion, the quiet presence of hands at work. She dreams of becoming a photographer, even though she knows it may never be practical, never be stable.

What begins as a simple repair turns into something harder to define.

Between circuits and cameras, broken appliances and unfinished loaves, they begin to share space—fixing what can be fixed, and learning to sit with what cannot. Through small routines, quiet conversations, and moments that don’t ask to be explained, they start to see each other more clearly.

Not as problems to solve.

But as something to keep.

The Shape of Small Things is a gentle story about noticing, about care, and about the quiet ways people come to matter—without needing to be repaired or perfected.

Ink of Another Life by Jay Jeong un Yang

I created a song using Suno titled 'Ink of Another Life', and the lyrics were inspired by the book 'The Emperor’s Soul' by Brandon Sanderson.

The artwork featured in the videos was created by me using ChatGPT.

This is version 1.

This is version 2.

  Lyrics:

Verse 1
In a silent room of stone and ink
Where broken histories remain
I trace the lines of what you were
Through memory and through pain
The past is carved in fragile dust
A story worn and old
But every scar inside a life
Is clay for hands to mold

Pre-Chorus
Every life that might have been
Whispers in the seal
Every road you never walked
Waits to become real

Chorus
Give me the cracks in your history
I’ll carve a better dawn
A thousand lives inside the seal
Waiting to be drawn
The past is only borrowed ink
The future still untold
A soul is just a story
Brave enough to mold

Verse 2
They say the truth is set in stone
Unchanging as a throne
But truth is just a fragile shape
A seed that’s never grown
If I can see the paths you lost
The choices left behind
I can write a different world
Inside the shape of time

Pre-Chorus
Every version of your life
Sleeping in the clay
Every breath you never took
Waiting for its day

Chorus
Give me the cracks in your history
I’ll carve a better dawn
A thousand lives inside the seal
Waiting to be drawn
The past is only borrowed ink
The future still untold
A soul is just a story
Brave enough to mold

Bridge
What is truth but memory
Written line by line
What is fate but history
Waiting to be signed
If the heart can learn to change
If the mind can see
Then the life you never lived
Still belongs to me

Final Chorus
Give me the cracks in your history
I’ll carve a better dawn
A thousand lives inside the seal
Now finally reborn
The past becomes a canvas
The future made of gold
A soul is just a story
Brave enough to hold

Outro
Ink becomes tomorrow
When courage takes control
And every hand that dares to write
Can rewrite the soul.

The Anger I Never Learned to Name by Jay Jeong un Yang

I created a song using Suno  titled 'The Anger I Never Learned to Name', and the lyrics were inspired by the movie 'Hulk'.

The artwork featured in the videos was created by me using ChatGPT.

 Lyrics:

Verse 1
I learned to fold the storm away
Before it reached the sky
Every feeling locked inside
Before it asked me why

They said the quiet ones are safe
The calm ones never break
But every word I swallowed down
Began to slowly shake

Pre-Chorus
No one taught me how to feel
Without the heat of flame
Every pulse inside my chest
Was something I could not name

Chorus
No one taught me how to feel without fire
How to hold the weight without the flame
Every word I buried grew louder
Till the silence learned to scream my name

I held it in, I held it tight
Till the calm began to bend
The anger I never learned to name
Is the voice I can't pretend

Verse 2
I tried to keep the edges smooth
To never lose control
But something deep beneath my skin
Was waking in my soul

They called it strength to stay composed
To never let it show
But every fear I locked away
Was learning how to grow

Pre-Chorus
Every heartbeat in the dark
Was louder than before
A language made of thunder
Breaking through the door

Chorus
No one taught me how to feel without fire
How to carry hurt without a flame
Every truth I tried to bury
Found a way to call my name

I held it in, I held it tight
Till the calm began to bend
The anger I never learned to name
Is the storm beneath my skin

Bridge
Maybe rage is just a language
That my heart was forced to speak
Maybe strength is not the silence
They demanded I should keep

Maybe every hidden fracture
Every fear I tried to tame
Was only trying to remind me
That pain still has a name

Final Chorus
No one taught me how to feel without fire
How to breathe when thunder came
Every scar I tried to hide
Still remembers who I am

I held it in until it grew
Until it tore the sky the same
The anger I never learned to name
Was the truth I couldn't tame

Outro
My silence had a pulse.
Now the world can hear it.

Blood Under the Brass Band by Jay Jeong un Yang

I created a song using Suno titled 'Blood Under the Brass Band', and the lyrics were inspired by the book 'A Free Man of Color' by Barbara Hambly.

The artwork featured in the videos was created by me using ChatGPT.

This is version 1.

This is version 2.

 Verse 1
The street is gold with lantern light
Trumpets laughing in the air
Silk and feathers spinning past
Like nobody sees me there

A hand comes fast, a flash of white
My lip splits on the night
Music keeps on dancing
Like nothing’s out of place tonight

Blood runs warm across my tongue
Brass horns start to climb
A free man in a borrowed world
Standing still in time

Pre-Chorus
Rage rose through me like fever heat
A fire behind my eyes
But every rule of survival
Is learning when rage dies

Chorus
Music through broken teeth
Drums beating down the street
Masked faces passing by
Like they don’t see the heat

Welcome home tastes like iron
In the back of my mouth tonight
A free man who cannot raise his hand
Still standing in the light

Verse 2
Feathers hide the watching eyes
Laughter hides the law
Every smile a painted mask
Every truth a flaw

They dance beneath the colored lights
While silence grips my bones
Every step a careful line
In a city not my own

I taste the copper in my breath
Hear the violins begin
The song is bright with freedom
But the cage is under skin

Pre-Chorus
Rage rose through me like fever heat
But I swallowed every flame
Because survival in this city
Means forgetting how to blame

Chorus
Music through broken teeth
Drums beating down the street
Masked faces passing by
Like they don’t feel the heat

Welcome home tastes like iron
In the back of my mouth tonight
A free man who cannot raise his hand
Still holding on to light

Bridge
Masks upon masks in the carnival glow
Truth in the blood that nobody shows
Freedom dressed in satin and lace
While fury hides behind my face

The trumpets cry for celebration
But the rhythm knows the truth
That every step I take tonight
Is walking on a noose

Final Chorus
Music through broken teeth
Still playing down the street
Masked faces laughing loud
Like they can’t feel the heat

Welcome home tastes like iron
But I’m breathing through the pain
A free man who cannot raise his hand
Still standing just the same

Outro
The music plays.
The masks remain.

And I stand still
Inside the song.

I Was Broken, Not Finished by Jay Jeong un Yang

I created a song using Suno  titled 'I Was Broken, Not Finished', and the lyrics were inspired by the book 'The Curse of Chalion' by Lois McMaster Bujold. It was made as a gift for Kim JaeJoong.

The artwork featured in the videos was created by me using ChatGPT.

This is version 1.

This is version 2.

  Lyrics:

Verse 1
They said the road had ended
Where the iron chains had been
Dust upon my shoulders
Years carved into my skin
I thought the cracks meant I was done
A vessel torn apart
A story half-forgotten
In the ruins of a heart

Pre-Chorus
But the quiet voice inside me
Would not fade away
Even in the shadow
It was asking me to stay

Chorus
I was broken, not finished
The fire still remained
Every scar a lantern
In the darkness and the rain
I thought the cracks meant I was ending
Like a page that fate dismissed
But broken things still carry light
I was broken, not finished

Verse 2
The road did not grow kinder
The night did not grow small
But somewhere in the silence
I began to hear a call
Not every wound is weakness
Not every fall defeat
Sometimes the soul grows stronger
Where the stone and mercy meet

Pre-Chorus
I carried all the pieces
I thought I’d left behind
And slowly they became the shape
Of something still alive

Chorus
I was broken, not finished
The fire still remained
Every scar a lantern
In the darkness and the rain
I thought the cracks meant I was ending
Like a promise torn to bits
But broken things still carry light
I was broken, not finished

Bridge
Maybe the gods were listening
Even when I could not pray
Maybe the shattered pathways
Were the ones that showed the way
A heart remade by suffering
A strength no crown could give
Not every soul that’s wounded
Has forgotten how to live

Final Chorus
I was broken, not finished
The dawn still called my name
Every scar a lantern
Guiding me through flame
I thought the cracks meant I was over
That my hope had simply missed
But broken things still carry light
I was broken, not finished

Outro
So if your road is shattered
And the night feels infinite
Remember every wounded heart
Is broken… not finished.

Small Hands, Big Courage by Jay Jeong un Yang

I created a song using Suno  titled 'Small Hands, Big Courage', and the lyrics were inspired by the book 'Hobbit' by J. R. R. Tolkien.

The artwork featured in the videos was created by me using ChatGPT.

This is version 1.

 This is version 2.

 Lyrics:

Verse 1

They laughed at my trembling voice
At the way I held my ground
Said I was made for garden paths
Not for dragons all around
My hands were small and shaking
My steps unsure and slow
But even seeds in quiet earth
Can split the stone below

Pre-Chorus

I wasn’t born for battle
I wasn’t crowned to lead
But something in my quiet heart
Refused to bend to fear

Chorus

Small hands, big courage
That’s how the story goes
You don’t need a giant’s shadow
To stand against the cold
They laughed at my trembling voice
Said I would never rise
But even quiet hearts can shake the ground
When they decide

Verse 2

I walked beyond the hedgerows
Past the comfort of the fire
Through forests thick with whispers
And mountains crowned with ire
I missed the taste of morning tea
The peace of my own door
But I found a strength in leaving
I had not known before

Pre-Chorus

The world is loud and towering
It measures worth by size
But courage doesn’t ask for height
It lives where small hope lies

Chorus

Small hands, big courage
That’s how the tale is told
The smallest light can guide the dark
The shyest heart be bold
They laughed at my trembling voice
But now the echoes know
Even quiet hearts can shake the ground
More than they show

Bridge

Not every hero roars
Not every victory shines
Sometimes it’s just a steady step
Across uncertain lines
A pocket full of kindness
A promise to be true
And standing when you’re terrified
Is more than giants do

Final Chorus

Small hands, big courage
No crown upon my head
Just a will that would not wither
When wiser men had fled
They laughed at my trembling voice
But I have come to see
Even quiet hearts can shake the ground
And that heart was in me

Where Nothing Is Owed by Jay Jeong un Yang

I created a song using Suno  titled 'Where Nothing Is Owed', and the lyrics were inspired by the book 'A Psalm for the Wild-Built' by Becky Chambers.

The artwork featured in the videos was created by me using ChatGPT.

 Lyrics:

Verse 1
You wake before the morning
With a list inside your chest
Measuring your breathing
Like it’s some kind of test
Counting all the hours
You didn’t “do” enough
As if the air requires
A reason to be touched

Pre-Chorus
But look how light just finds you
Without a single plea
The sun does not make bargains
It simply lets you be

Chorus
You don’t have to earn the sunlight
It rises all the same
The earth holds you without question
It never asks your name
Being here is reason enough
To take up space and stay
You don’t have to earn the sky
It was always yours anyway

Verse 2
The trees don’t file their branches
For approval from the breeze
The river doesn’t hurry
To justify the seas
No mountain proves its value
By how high it can stand
It simply rests in silence
And still becomes the land

Pre-Chorus
What if you are like that?
Unmeasured and complete
Not a task to finish
But a pulse, a steady beat

Chorus
You don’t have to earn the sunlight
Or prove your worth in sweat
The ground beneath your tired feet
Has not withdrawn you yet
Being here is reason enough
No ledger left to weigh
You don’t have to earn the sky
It does not turn away

Bridge
Lay down the heavy question
Of what you’re “meant” to be
The moss grows soft on fallen logs
Without apology
The wind does not demand
That you deserve its grace
It simply moves around you
And makes a quiet place

Final Chorus
You don’t have to earn the sunlight
Or fight to justify
Your breath is not a contract
Your heart does not comply
Being here is reason enough
To rest without delay
You don’t have to earn the sky
It holds you anyway

Outro
So if you’re tired, be tired
If you’re still, then stay
The sky has never asked you
To be more than today
