A Gentle Thing That Endured by Jay Jeong un Yang

I created a song using Suno titled 'A Gentle Thing That Endured', and it was made as a gift for the birthday of Lee Mu Jin.

I produced three versions of the song.

The artwork featured in the videos was created by me using ChatGPT.

This is the version 1. The artwork image is in an Alphonse Mucha style.

This is the version 2. The artwork image is in an original style.

This is the version 3. The artwork image is in a Sumie style.

Lyric:

They tried to carve the light from me
With every scar they left behind
They said the world is made of teeth
That mercy is a weaker kind

But still I kept a fragile flame
Beneath the weight I learned to bear
The dark has called me by my name
And found I would not answer there

I’ve seen what hatred makes of men
The hollow shape it leaves inside
So I chose something harder then:
To stay alive
To stay kind

If this is foolish, let it be
If gentleness is seen as wrong
Then let the wound remember me
As something that endured so long

Not pure, not whole, but standing still
With trembling hands and stubborn breath
I walk toward the morning’s will
And learn again
What lives past death

A fragile light, but still it grows
Through shattered ground and broken seams
The world is harsh — yet even so
My heart still dares
To shelter dreams
