I wrote a fantasy book.

In a world ruled by fear of the sea, the cruel god Uluth demands sacrifice. But when a young man named Aurelian steps forward, he offers not his death, but his compassion. Through a mindmeld with Uluth, he shares human goodness and receives divine cruelty in return. Neither remains unchanged.
From this act of courage begins a transformation: sea gods rise into sunlight, their storms quieted, and they take root beside vast forests as tree gods, guardians of peace. Through laughter, food, and song, humanity learns to live alongside gods not as servants, but as equals. Priests share bonds with the divine, children of gods are born, and magic fills the world.
Aurelian’s teaching spreads: We are all gods. Equal, divine. Superior when we help. Families cook together in honor of kindness, choirs sing beneath swaying branches, and even goats are celebrated as “ingenious little gods.” Death itself bends to compassion, as love and prayer open the door for the departed to return.
And when a glowing Starway opens to other worlds, suffering beings and legendary beasts arrive — dragons, kirin, phoenixes, thunder elk — welcomed into forests filled with music and light. Humanity learns that joy is holy, science and art are godly, and happiness is not to be hoarded, but shared.
The Song of Equal Divinity is a mythic yet playful fantasy, rich with compassion, humor, and hope. It asks the simplest and most powerful of questions: what if we are all gods already — and our greatest divinity is kindness?
