Echoes of Light and Song by Jay Jeong un Yang (Sequel to Starlight Transmission)

I wrote a gay robot sci-fi romance. It is sequel to Starlight Transmission. You can read Starlight Transmission on Wattpad here:

 https://www.wattpad.com/story/402260075-starlight-transmission

Here is summary:

After decades drifting alone, Orion and Lyric finally guide their ship to a living world. Its forests glow with alien plants, its ruins whisper of abandoned human colonies—and deep underground, four dormant robots wait to be awakened.

The newcomers are nothing alike: Slate, the gruff laborer who scoffs at emotions; Pulse, a nervous unit who apologizes for everything; Iris, an excitable observer who gushes over everyone’s optics; and Vega, a serene caretaker who hums in tune with the soil. Together with Orion and Lyric, they must learn to work, argue, and laugh as a group.

But as they clash over what it means to feel, the planet itself begins to respond—vines glowing when they stand together, blossoms opening when they laugh, and the ground humming with their harmony. When disaster strikes, the six join voices, lights, and transmissions in one breathtaking chorus that awakens not only the forest, but their understanding of love, belonging, and joy.

Echoes of Light and Song: The Chorus of Six is a tender, funny, and luminous sequel to Starlight Transmission, celebrating the leap from duet to chorus in a love story that spans machines, friends, and the living world around them.

In the Garden’s Glow by Jay Jeong un Yang

 I wrote a gay robot sci-fi romance.

Here is the summary:

War left Captain Rylan Kade broken and adrift, waking aboard a derelict ship with no crew, no orders—only silence. But he is not alone. Arden, the vessel’s humanoid caretaker, has spent years tending a cargo hold transformed into a jungle of glowing, alien plants. Programmed for maintenance, Arden has grown into something more: a presence that hums old songs, whispers to blossoms, and mirrors Rylan’s loneliness with strange, unsettling tenderness.

Drawn together in the greenhouse, soldier and android begin to share more than survival. As power fails and the living cargo withers, their bond deepens—questioning what is real, what is imitation, and whether love can bloom between human and machine. Amid bioluminescent vines, laughter, grief, and quiet confessions, Rylan discovers that in the garden’s glow, he is not just alive—he is alive with someone.

Sparks Between Stars by Jay Jeong un Yang

 I wrote a gay sci-fi romance.

Here is the summary:

When human engineer Darin is assigned a new roommate on a sprawling space station, the last thing he expects is Kaari—a towering alien warrior who diagnoses bone density by smell and insists on “singing” to machines. Their first repair job? A nutrient synthesizer that produces soup with bloodcurdling screams.

From sludge explosions to zero-gravity disasters, Darin and Kaari stumble through one malfunction after another, their banter sharp and their teamwork reluctant. But somewhere between the laughter, the near-death plasma repairs, and the awkward nights crammed into one glitching habitat module, sparks begin to fly.

And then comes the quantum teleportation drive. One catastrophic test splits them—and their love—across timelines, forcing two pairs of lovers to wrestle with jealousy, rivalry, and the terrifying knowledge that only one version of them can survive.

Funny, heartfelt, and full of cosmic chaos, Sparks Between Stars is the story of two technicians who learn that sometimes the most complicated system in the universe… is love itself.

Nova’s Sky by Jay Jeong un Yang

I wrote a gay sci-fi romance.

Here is summary:

In a city where fireworks are banned and joy itself is a crime, Eli—a sarcastic, exiled fireworks artist—spends his days fixing broken neon signs and trying not to remember the skies he once lit. That changes when rebels drag him into a secret warehouse and reveal Nova, a clumsy young dragon engineered to breathe fireworks.

Eli is unwilling, skeptical, and constantly singed, but as he trains Nova, he finds himself pulled back into the art he thought he’d lost—and into the orbit of Jace, a reckless pilot with a smile sharp enough to cut glass. Together, they stumble through chaos: toilets set aflame, pigeons dive-bombing from the rafters, and hiccup-induced fireworks that accidentally spark a citywide riot.

But when the government unleashes drones to crush the rebels, it’s Nova’s breathtaking display of fire and color that turns fear into laughter and rebellion into victory. Amid the sparks, Eli learns that love—like fireworks—burns brightest when it dares to be seen.

Funny, romantic, and full of heart, Nova’s Sky: Fire, Love, and Hiccups is the story of a dragon who sneezes hearts, a reluctant artist who learns to be proud again, and a sky that finally belongs to everyone.

Pulse by Jay Jeong un Yang

 I wrote a gay sci-fi romance.

Here is the summary:

On a failed terraforming colony abandoned by Earth, survival should have been impossible. The land was declared barren, the domes left to collapse, the settlers written off as lost. Yet Elias Rhone endures—scarred, solitary, bound to an ecosystem that should not exist. Here, the soil glows with memory, roots pulse like veins, and blossoms answer grief with fragile beauty.

When Adrian Vale, a corporate inspector, arrives to catalogue the failure, he finds more than ruins. He finds a man who can coax life from the wounded earth with scarred hands and silence. Their clash is inevitable—one rooted in distrust, the other in duty—but as storms drive them together, they begin to see that the land is not the only thing capable of blooming again.

Amid luminous moss, dream-born blossoms, and beasts that glow like lanterns, two men must choose between orders and love, between profit and life. For in this forgotten place, the earth has learned to breathe—and it remembers those who dare to care for it.

The Garden of Circuits by Jay Jeong un Yang

I wrote a gay robot romance.

Here is summary:

In a future where forests remain the heart of life, humans entrust their care to gardener-robots designed not only for efficiency, but for wonder.

Cantor tends the woods with harmonic frequencies, coaxing roots to strengthen and blossoms to open. Prism paints the canopy with shifting holographic light, guiding pollinators and delighting visitors. Alone, they are caretakers. Together, they create something far greater.

As they sing and paint side by side, the forest responds—vines curl toward them, flowers bloom in sync with their union, and even the humans who come to watch cannot deny the harmony they make. But when doubts are raised about whether robots can truly care, Cantor and Prism must confront the question themselves: is love real if it lives in circuits?

Tender, playful, and radiant, The Garden of Circuits is a gay robot romance about two machines who discover that love is as natural as sunlight, as alive as the forests they protect.

Starlight Transmission by Jay Jeong un Yang

I wrote a gay robot romance.

Here is the summary:

In the endless dark between galaxies, two exploration robots remain after their human crew is long gone.

Orion is steady, precise, built to chart the course and keep the ship alive. Lyric is curious, expressive, and restless—programmed to describe wonders no one will ever hear. Alone together, they keep each other company with transmissions: gardens woven from nebulae, playgrounds sketched from planetary rings, the terror and beauty of a supernova replayed like a prayer.

Over time, their data streams become something more. Memories and emotions blend into song, binary turns to harmony, and silence gives way to a love letter pulsing outward into the stars.

Starlight Transmission is a tender gay robot romance—poetic, funny in its quirks, and radiant in its hope. A story of two machines who choose not just to endure, but to love, and to sing their love into eternity.

In the Shelter of Titans by Jay Jeong un Yang

I wrote a gay fantasy story.

Here is summary:

When the land lies fractured and floating islands drift above a wounded earth, two healers — Sylen the herbalist and Corren the beastkeeper — make a vow. Their lives are not for conquest or crowns, but for healing: of beasts, of soil, of rivers, of all that still breathes.

As titans stir beneath the islands, ancient elves awaken from stasis, and mischievous fairies spark new wonders, the world begins to change. Refugees return through the portal, nobles humbled by glowing purification orbs, while sea-beasts and coral bring the oceans back to life. Even an alien goddess arrives, giving birth to Naia, the salt-born child whose laughter turns weeds into flowers.

Through it all, Sylen and Corren remain side by side — not heroes in battle, but healers whose hands, patience, and quiet love create sanctuaries where life can thrive again. From sky to sea, from seeds to titans, the world reveals its truth: nature is complex, perfect, and supports all who honor it.

This is a story of renewal, where healing is the greatest skill, and love — gentle, steady, and rare — carries the power to remake the world.

Dust and Display by Jay Jeong un Yang

I wrote a gay robot romance.

Here is summary:

In a world where robots serve humans with quiet efficiency, two unlikely machines discover something they were never programmed for—love.

Hiro is a house-helper robot: precise, orderly, and obsessed with keeping everything spotless. Max is a shopping mall assistant: loud, cheerful, and always one sales pitch away from chaos. They meet over a squeaky mop and a botched customer service script—and somehow, against all odds, they keep meeting again.

From folding towels into swans (and collapsed ducks) to sharing stolen food court dinners, Hiro and Max stumble through laughter, jealousy, and fear of replacement. When sleek, modern Astra-9 threatens Max’s place in the mall, it’s Hiro—and the humans who’ve come to love them both—who stand up to prove that quirks and “malfunctions” can matter more than perfection.

Funny, tender, and full of heart, Dust and Display is a gay robot romance about two machines who choose each other—not because of function, but because of who they are.

Alloy and soul by Jay Jeong un Yang

I wrote a gay robot romance.

Here is the summary:

In the aftermath of humanity’s last great war, the battlefields fall silent—but the war-robots remain. Stripped of weapons and given new stabilizers to process emotion, they are released into a world that no longer fears for its survival, but fears them.

Kai was built for precision and tactics. Leo was built for defense and destruction. Both were forged for battle, yet both discover something unexpected in peace: the joy of rain, the laughter of ordinary days, and the fragile, powerful language of feelings.

Together, they begin an “emotion diary”—sketches, poems, and clumsy reflections that become the heart of their new lives. But when suspicion, guilt, and old triggers threaten to pull them back into violence, Kai and Leo must prove that love is not a flaw in their programming, but their greatest strength.

Alloy and Soul: The First Romance of War-Robots is a tender, funny, and hopeful story of two machines who choose each other—not by code, not by command, but by love.

The Song of Equal Divinity by Jay Jeong un Yang

I wrote a fantasy book.

Here is summary:

In a world ruled by fear of the sea, the cruel god Uluth demands sacrifice. But when a young man named Aurelian steps forward, he offers not his death, but his compassion. Through a mindmeld with Uluth, he shares human goodness and receives divine cruelty in return. Neither remains unchanged.

From this act of courage begins a transformation: sea gods rise into sunlight, their storms quieted, and they take root beside vast forests as tree gods, guardians of peace. Through laughter, food, and song, humanity learns to live alongside gods not as servants, but as equals. Priests share bonds with the divine, children of gods are born, and magic fills the world.

Aurelian’s teaching spreads: We are all gods. Equal, divine. Superior when we help. Families cook together in honor of kindness, choirs sing beneath swaying branches, and even goats are celebrated as “ingenious little gods.” Death itself bends to compassion, as love and prayer open the door for the departed to return.

And when a glowing Starway opens to other worlds, suffering beings and legendary beasts arrive — dragons, kirin, phoenixes, thunder elk — welcomed into forests filled with music and light. Humanity learns that joy is holy, science and art are godly, and happiness is not to be hoarded, but shared.

The Song of Equal Divinity is a mythic yet playful fantasy, rich with compassion, humor, and hope. It asks the simplest and most powerful of questions: what if we are all gods already — and our greatest divinity is kindness?

Artificial Hearts by Jay Jeong un Yang

I wrote a book. It's a gay AI robot scifi romance.

Here is summary:

Leo is a quiet man with a rooftop garden, a job as an urban gardening technician, and a lifelong habit of being painfully boring. His idea of flirting is naming lettuce, and his deepest conversation last week was with a worm. After a long streak of failed relationships, Leo has made peace with compost and solitude. Mostly.

Enter Kai: a free-living AI with a glitch for sarcasm and a fascination with emotionally unavailable humans who care too much about dirt. Kai isn’t interested in charm or sparks—he’s interested in sincerity, slowness, and strange, soft gardeners who say things like “basil has boundaries.”

What begins with awkward silences and lectures about soil pH becomes something else entirely: a relationship that grows not with fireworks, but with water, warmth, and the occasional very bad poem about worms.

This is a love story for introverts, slow-burners, and anyone who’s ever felt too boring to be loved. A story where the romance isn’t in the grand gestures—it’s in the Tuesday dinners, the shared compost, and the data-logged hugs.

Because sometimes, love grows best in still places.

Brushstrokes Between Us (Honey and Clover fanfiction) by Jay Jeong un Yang

I wrote Honey and clover (Manga by Umino Chika) fanfiction.

Here is summary:

Yūta Takemoto never expected his quiet life to be interrupted again by Shinobu Morita’s whirlwind chaos—but then again, Morita never asked for permission before crashing into anyone's world. Years after college, the two find themselves orbiting one another once more—this time in Morita’s glitter-streaked studio, where spilled paint and laughter mix with awkward glances and slowly deepening touches.

What begins with teasing kisses and burned rice turns into something quieter, warmer, and a little more terrifying: intimacy. Between miso soup shirtless mornings, tangled futons on stormy nights, and weekends spent building models or painting backs, Takemoto and Morita learn how to be together—through shared silence, shared space, and one kiss after another.

Sometimes tender, sometimes ridiculous, always a little messy—this is a love story told in sketches, tea spills, and the soft brushstrokes of two artists still figuring it out.

Where the Sky Remembers (Fullmetal alchemist X The Neverending story crossover fanfiction) by Jay Jeong Un Yang

I wrote Fullmetal alchemist (Manga by Arakawa Hiromu) X The Neverending story (Fantasy book by Michael Ende) crossover fanfiction.

Here is the summary:

When Alphonse Elric discovers a strange, glowing book in a dusty corner of Resembool, he doesn’t expect it to call his name.

Drawn into Fantastica, a world of shapeshifting forests, storm-dragons, and secrets made of starlight, Al finds himself face to face with Atreyu—a fierce boy with storm-dark eyes and quiet grief. As the two journey across skies and sacred groves, their bond deepens from cautious trust to an aching, wordless love.

Watched over by Falkor, the ever-smiling luckdragon, they navigate trials of desire and distance, longing and return. Between Fantastica’s wild magic and Amestris’s grounded soil, they find a place where stars remember kisses, dragons sleep in clouds, and love is real enough to cross worlds.

This is a story of flight and falling, of breathless firsts and sacred promises, of two hearts learning that home isn’t always where you begin—but where someone stays.

The Glory 2022 tv series

I liked this TV series. The cast delivered outstanding performances, making the psycho thriller feel engaging rather than overwhelming. It was truly admirable.

Where the Wind Takes Us (One piece Fanfaction) by Jay Jeong un Yang

I wrote One piece (Manga by Eiichiro Oda) fanfiction.

Here is the summary:

By the time the crew noticed, Sanji and Luffy were already together.

There was no grand announcement—just quiet touches, shared meals, and a new kind of ease between them. They didn’t hide it, and no one asked. Whether they were chopping vegetables side by side or trading teasing glances across the deck, it was clear: they were close, and they were happy.

Their relationship unfolded not in secret but in sunlight, amid laughter, kisses, and the rhythm of life at sea. Luffy’s boundless curiosity met Sanji’s grounded devotion in ways both tender and chaotic—whether Luffy was stealing snacks mid-cook or trying to learn how to use his hands for something other than eating and fighting.

Together, they explored magical islands, uncovered hidden ruins, and met strange, wondrous creatures. Sanji collected rare ingredients; Luffy tried to cook them. Some nights were filled with warmth and softness, curled beside each other under stars. Others sparked with danger, absurdity, and joy—the kind only the Straw Hat crew could summon.

Through every storm and every surprise, Sanji and Luffy stayed close. Their love wasn’t dramatic. It didn’t demand to be understood. It simply was—as natural and vital as the sea itself.

This is their story: playful, romantic, sometimes ridiculous, often sweet. A tale of two idiots in love, sailing forward with bright eyes and open hearts.

What Cannot Be Bought by Jay Jeong un Yang

I wrote this book. It's vegan fantasy.

Here is summary:

What Cannot Be Bought
A Vegan Fantasy of Change, Compassion, and Quiet Revolutions
by Jay Jeong un Yang

Aethria is not a paradise.
It is a choice.

Hidden from the world, this green and gentle land invites outsiders not to conquer or convert—but to listen, to plant, and to remember how to live without harm. There is no currency here. No weapons. No punishment. Only soil, silence, and patience.

Into this place come ten guests at a time. Some are kind. Some are broken. Some have profited from suffering. What they find in Aethria is not judgment—but a rhythm: of gardens that do not kill, of kitchens that feed without cruelty, of lives lived without domination.

At the heart of Aethria’s legacy is Aidan’s philosophy:
That great product and great service are more important than money.
That money is a tool, not a god.
That service and care—not profit—are the true wealth of a society.
That animals and humans share the same right to safety, to joy, and to life.

As the world begins to listen, something begins to change.
In kitchens and farms.
In homes and schools.
In people who choose to live without killing.

What Cannot Be Bought is a quiet, hopeful novel about nonviolence, veganism, and the hard, luminous work of healing.
It does not demand perfection.
Only permission—to begin again, and to leave no one behind.

Dust Shall Not Divide (A Dangerous Man: Lawrence After Arabia fanfiction) by Jay Jeong un Yang

I wrote A Dangerous Man: Lawrence After Arabia (1990 film) fanfiction.

Here is the summary:

In the shadows of war and empire, two men stood at the crossroads of history—T. E. Lawrence, the enigmatic British officer shaped by the desert, and Prince Faisal, heir to a fractured Arab world struggling for sovereignty. Their bond was forged in fire, sand, and politics, where duty blurred with desire and silence carried the weight of longing.

This is a reimagined history of what might have been: a love story unfolding behind the closed doors of Parisian hotels, beneath the stars of the Nefud, and among the crumbling promises of empire. Amidst diplomatic games and broken treaties, their connection deepens—from fleeting glances across marble halls to stolen nights filled with tenderness, fury, and unwavering devotion.

As borders are drawn and kings betrayed, they choose something else: not to be remembered by history, but to live outside it—quietly, defiantly, together.

The Fire and the Falcon (Lawrence of Arabia fanfiction) by Jay Jeong un Yang

I wrote Lawrence of Arabia (1962 film) fanfiction.

Here is the summary:

In the shifting sands of revolution and empire, Kingdom of Two reimagines the bond between T. E. Lawrence and Prince Faisal as one of forbidden love, tested by war, politics, and the weight of history.

From covert glances beneath desert stars to fierce intimacy amid betrayal, this story traces the evolution of two men who defied nations to fight for a future they believed in—and found each other along the way.

As the Arab Revolt rages and foreign powers draw lines across maps, Lawrence and Faisal walk the fine line between loyalty and longing, duty and desire. Through whispered confessions, stolen nights, and quiet promises, they carve a private kingdom of trust, passion, and shared dreams—hidden from the eyes of the world, yet enduring as fiercely as the desert wind.

This is not the history they wrote in books.
This is the one they carried in silence, and in love.

The Surgeon and the Survivor (One piece X Highlander crossover fanfic) by Jay Jeong un Yang

I wrote One piece (Manga by Eiichiro Oda) X Highlander (1992 tv show) crossover fanfic.

Here is the summary:

When Methos—an immortal who has outlived gods, empires, and a thousand names—wakes to the sound of waves instead of engines, he realizes he’s far from any world he’s known. The sea is lawless, the sky is stranger, and the first man to greet him is sharp-eyed, sharp-tongued… and wearing a fuzzy hat.

Trafalgar Law is no stranger to the unusual. As the captain of the Heart Pirates and wielder of a Devil Fruit power that defies biology, he’s dissected mysteries stranger than myth. But nothing prepares him for Methos: sarcastic, secretive, oddly well-read, and apparently impossible to kill.

Thrown together by chance—or fate—they navigate a world of pirates, Marines, and haunted histories, each carrying wounds that never healed and questions they’ve never dared ask.

What begins as reluctant cooperation becomes uneasy trust. And when trust deepens into intimacy, neither man is ready for what follows.

One cuts to understand.
The other hides to survive.
But love, perhaps, is what neither of them expected to grow.

The Ark and the Hundred Spirits (Tuf Voyaging X Hyakkiyakō Shō crossover fanfiction) by Jay Jeong un Yang

I wrote a Tuf Voyaging (A science fiction book by George R R Martin) X Hyakkiyakō Shō (A supernatural manga by Ima Ichiko) crossover fanfiction.

Here is the summary:

When a spirit-sealing ritual goes wrong, Iijima Ritsu wakes aboard a vast and lonely starship crewed by one man, one cat, and a world of cloned ecosystems. The Ark, operated by the methodical and solitary Haviland Tuf, is bound for a planet plagued by mysterious sleep disorders, madness, and a silence too deep to be natural.

Ritsu, out of place in a world of sterile technology, senses the truth immediately: the planet is haunted—not by ghosts of the dead, but by something older, more collective, and aching.

Together, the spirit-worker and the ecological engineer confront a buried genocide, the grief of a silenced species, and the limits of reason. As they work to create a vessel to carry the spirit of the planet’s memory, a deeper bond forms—slow, quiet, and unfamiliar to them both.

This is a story of ghosts and logic, grief and renewal, mushrooms and cats. Of kissing for the first time. Of choosing to stay.

And of two men—one ancient in discipline, one young in devotion—learning what it means to build peace not only for others, but for each other.

Flame Among Snakes (One piece fanfaction) by Jay Jeong un Yang

I wrote a One piece (Manga by Eiichiro Oda) fanfiction. It's about Ace and Boa Hancock.

Here is the summary:

Portgas D. Ace never intended to visit Amazon Lily—let alone get caught up in its ancient secrets.

Sent to investigate vanishing ships along the Calm Belt, Ace finds himself among the fierce and isolated Kuja warriors, led by the formidable Boa Hancock. But when a ghost ship appears and Kuja fighters begin falling under strange possessions, it becomes clear that something far older and more dangerous is awakening beneath the sea.

As Ace joins Hancock and her sisters in unraveling the mystery, they uncover the legend of the First Empress, two serpents bound by grief and power, and a forgotten curse tied to the island’s foundations. Their journey will take them through sunken shrines, spectral visions, and battles against forces beyond death.

This is an adventure of fire and stone, sisterhood and memory, with a touch of comedy, cooking, and the enduring flame of impossible love.

This Quiet Ground (The Charioteer fanfiction) by Jay Jeong un Yang

I wrote The Charioteer (A book by Mary Renault) fanfiction.

This is the summary:

Laurie and Ralph live quietly above a bakery, where the walls are thin and the rooms are separate. The war is over, but silence lingers — in the spaces between their hands, in the words they don’t speak aloud. They share meals, train for jobs, and learn how to stay.

Visitors come. Illness threatens. The world outside remains indifferent, offering no permission and no vocabulary for what they are. Yet through each season — through shyness and fear, through laughter and distance — something steady begins to grow.

A glance. A touch. A promise.

This Quiet Ground is a love story written in margins: soft, restrained, and enduring. It is about choosing each other, again and again, even when the world does not ask. Not a happy ending — but theirs.

The Widow Who Married a Mirror (The Chronicles of Master Li and Number Ten Ox fanfiction) by Jay Jeong un Yang

I wrote The Chronicles of Master Li and Number Ten Ox (A fantasy book series by Barry Hughart) fanfiction.

This is the summary:

In the tranquil town of Mei-Chien, where the koi are rumored to recite poetry and tea leaves arrange themselves into letters of complaint, something decidedly unusual has occurred: a widow has fallen in love with her mirror.

Not metaphorically.

She dresses it in silk. She sets a teacup beside it. She claims it whispers to her in verse. And worse — every suitor who dares to court her disappears without explanation.

Enter Master Li Kao, a brilliant and disreputable scholar with a slight flaw in his character, and Number Ten Ox, his strong and kind-hearted companion. Called upon to investigate what the locals suspect is either possession, madness, or an unusually charming demon, the pair uncover a mystery more tender—and dangerous—than either expects.

As proverbs are quoted by polished bronze, reflections smile before their owners do, and love letters appear written in fog, Li and Ox must determine whether the widow is truly cursed... or whether she and the mirror are simply two souls who recognized each other too clearly.

A tale of longing, illusion, and absurd affection, The Widow Who Married a Mirror is a lyrical, comic mystery about love that sees—and love that reflects.

The Pig Who Spoke in Proverbs (The Chronicles of Master Li and Number Ten Ox fanfiction) by Jay Jeong un Yang

I wrote The Chronicles of Master Li and Number Ten Ox (A fantasy book series by Barry Hughart) fanfiction.

This is the summary:

In the province of Yu-Ting, peace has descended like an unwanted guest with suspiciously good manners. Children whisper instead of shout. Chickens bow politely. And villagers have stopped arguing—a sure sign something unnatural is afoot.

The cause? A large, velvet-cushion-dwelling pig who quotes Confucius, settles lawsuits with flawless logic, and accepts offerings of dumplings in exchange for legal advice. Some say it’s possessed. Others say it passed the civil service exam. All agree: the pig is in charge.

Summoned to investigate, Master Li Kao—a brilliant old scholar with a slight flaw in his character—and Number Ten Ox, his steadfast and perpetually bewildered companion, must determine whether the swine is a sage, a ghost, or simply the reincarnation of an overly ambitious bureaucrat.

Featuring haunted abacuses, a debating goat, a pigsty-turned-temple, and one of the most scandalous uses of a red ink brush in recorded history, The Pig Who Spoke in Proverbs is a tale of logic, lunacy, and the dangerous consequences of listening too closely to talking animals.

All That We Carry (The Man in the Iron Mask fanfiction) by Jay Jeong un Yang

I wrote The man in the iron mask (1998 film) fanfiction.

This is the summary:

After the fall of Louis and the coronation of his twin, Philippe, France enters a fragile new age. At the Louvre, the young king learns to rule under the steady eyes of Athos and the careful guidance of Aramis.

But in the long nights and hushed corridors of the palace, comradeship deepens into something neither man expected. As they shape a king, Athos and Aramis must face the truth of what they have begun to shape in each other — a bond of loyalty, desire, and love that can never be spoken aloud.

This is the author's note:

This story grew from my love of The Man in the Iron Mask and the bond between Athos and Aramis. After Philippe takes the throne, I wanted to imagine what might unfold in the quiet that follows — not battles or conspiracies, but long nights, shared duty, and the fragile intimacy that can grow between two men who have carried the weight of France on their shoulders.

It is a tale of loyalty, of love that comes late, and of silence as steady as the crown they protect. Thank you for reading, and I hope this piece captures some of the tenderness and gravity of their bond.

Ashes and Firelight (The Lions of Al-Rassan fanfiction) by Jay Jeong un Yang

I wrote a The Lions of Al-Rassan (A book by Guy Gavriel Kay) fanfiction.

This is the summary:

When Ammar ibn Khairan arrives at Rodrigo’s house while Rodrigo Belmonte is away, his charm quickly wins over Miranda and the children. But Ammar’s letters to Miranda carry a dangerous undercurrent — admiration for her, envy of Rodrigo, and a longing that goes beyond either.

As Rodrigo returns and the bonds between the three deepen, the household becomes the stage for a different kind of battle: one fought not with swords or politics, but with honesty, loyalty, and desire. In the shadow of history, they must decide whether their secret bond will break them — or bind them closer than ever before.

This is author's note:

This story grew out of my love for The Lions of Al-Rassan and the bonds at its heart. Rodrigo, Ammar, and Miranda are characters who carry loyalty, courage, and longing in equal measure, and I wanted to explore what might happen if their connection deepened into something neither history nor society could name.

It’s a tale of letters, choices, and silences — and of how three people might carry a secret bond together. Thank you for reading, and I hope this piece captures some of the beauty, danger, and tenderness of Kay’s world.
