 I like this song.

Even when I look into the mirror, I can't find a single feather,
But I hear an impatient birdsong longing for the sky.
I've decided now to escape this city that feels like an iron cage.
If you try to stop me, I'll just take your feelings—thank you for them.

The things I’ll lose, the things I’ll give up,
Yes, they all seem to shine.
But I weighed them on a scale, made the choice myself,
And even gave up the right to regret.

Can your wings move? Can you truly fly?
I looked straight at the sky without saying yes or no.
The bird’s name is Laughter—it broke the cage.
Not yes, not no—just a voice shouting, “I want to fly!”
That voice overcame the self who once sat with knees drawn up—
And Laughter kept singing again today,
A song to proclaim victory to oneself.

When the strength of the wind questioned what true righteousness is,
I sometimes lost my way and drifted into the flight paths of other birds.
But in the turbulence, I looked for those shimmering particles of light—
Even if they're fake,
I’ll try to create a righteousness of my own, and cherish it.

Not someone virtuous, not someone successful,
I just want to be someone who can always take pride in the present.
With that hope, I sketch out a vision of the future—
I just want to keep living without letting it go.

Can you see reality? Can you promise certainty?
In the past, I couldn’t answer—yes or no—and got stuck.
But Laughter, carrying that past on its back, defied expectations.
It wasn’t goals or distances,
But that ever-resonating voice—
That voice was the light I used as a searchlight during lonely nights.
Now, I’ve finally realized that.

In an unprecedented downpour where even umbrellas are useless,
Still, my heart grows warm.
Stronger than the roar of the sea, faster than lightning,
I flap my wings and aim for what lies ahead.

Can your wings move? Can you truly fly?
I looked straight at the sky without saying yes or no.
The bird’s name is Laughter—it broke the cage.
Not yes, not no—just the voice shouting, “I want to fly!”
That voice overcame the self who once sat with knees drawn up—
And Laughter kept singing again today,
A song to proclaim victory to oneself.
